About Dermo
Dermo is a free tool for putting together a skincare routine from the products you already own: which ingredients clash, which “never mix” rules are myths, and what to use on which morning and evening.
Who makes it
Dermo is built by an independent developer in Moldova. We are not doctors, dermatologists or a medical service, and Dermo doesn't diagnose or treat anything. The .md in our address is Moldova's internet domain, not a medical title.
How the rules are written
Each ingredient pair is drafted with the help of AI tools from published research, regulator documents and evidence-based cosmetic science writing. Every rule shows how strong the evidence is and links to its sources, so you can check it yourself. When the evidence for a popular rule is weak, we say so.
What Dermo doesn't do
- It doesn't look at photos of your skin or ask about skin conditions.
- It doesn't check prescription products against the rest of your routine: that's for whoever prescribed them.
- It doesn't recommend sunscreens or other products that are OTC drugs in the US. They appear in your routine as a step, and their labels come first.
- It doesn't send your routine anywhere: it is worked out and saved in your browser.
Money
Dermo has no ads and no affiliate links today. If that changes, every paid link will be marked next to it, and it will never change what the ingredient check says.
